I'm not the biggest fan of Valentine's and all the money it costs (also it shouldn't all be about one day). So this year, I decided to save some money and make my card. My boyfriend is a big fan of robots and online I've seen examples of a chocolate robot, where the body is made of a bar of chocolate so I got some
Bournville (my boyfriends favourite) wrapped it in normal kitchen foil and made it into the robot I normally draw for him (plus a love heart to make it seem a little romantic). To keep with the theme, I had some old tags laying around, which I stuck a miniature version of the robot onto. I kept the colours the same and since I had some time I made a little pattern to place inside the envelope. All in all I'm happy with the outcome. I think I'll do this from now on. Not only did it save me money but I wouldn't have found a card I liked better. I apologise in advance for the rushed photographs, but I had to get it done before he came home!
