Mini Visions

While looking through the hidden people. I came across this really amazing duo called Minimiam. I loved their work instantly, so creative and actually reminded me of the the movie The Borrowers. However one clear difference is food. I love the detail and the compositions and the work going into it…Mind blowing and such lovely 'little' displays of art.

Also while on the subject of mini, I recently purchased a lovely book by Slinkachu called Little People in the city. His street art is an on going project which he sets up these little scenes all around the world. The Little People blog can be found here.

Domino

I always thought that dominoes would be great with facial expressions. So for one project for University, I did just that. It seemed to turn out a bit more 'Dad's Army' than I would have liked. But when I thought of 'chapping', Chaps came to mind and I instantly pictured a  moustache. So I think it ended up working. I thought with the cold weather, this rough idea was quite fitting.

Spring Forward

How nice is it to see such lovely flowers and colours starting to bloom. I love taking photographs at this time of year.

Vivienne Westwood

I recently took a series of photographs for Make Up artist Susan Mootassem. Pretty much knowing nothing about make up and watching her at work was inspirational. Her looks are inspired by Vivienne Westwood and I think they look amazing. The detail was great and the models were lovely. Had such fun working on this project! :)
